Ruine Farnsburg
The Farnsburg. A Count’s castle in the most beautiful landscape.
The Counts of Tierstein must have been delighted with the view from their new castle around 1330, as must the bailiffs from 1461 onwards. Unfortunately, Farnsburg Castle was also destroyed in 1798 in the course of the revolution. Since the renovation, it is the visitors who let their gaze wander from the Vosges to the Black Forest and the Alps from the mighty shield wall.
