Burgruine Pfeffingen. The ’Key’ to Laufental.

Built, occupied, besieged, destroyed, and rebuilt - there has been a lot happening at Pfeffingen Castle since the 11th century. After the careful restoration of the ruins in 2017, it is not only its strategic location that is exciting, but the view over Basel, and the many engaging audio stories and information about the wild history of this castle.

Since summer 2020, visitors have been able to enjoy an exciting audio tour with eight audio stories highlighting the most important stages of the castle over the last thousand years.
