Eurovision Song Contest
The Eurovision Song Contest is a music competition for composers, lyricists and songwriters. The entries are performed by singers. It has been organized annually by the European Broadcasting Union as part of Eurovision since 1956.

From 10 to 17 May, a comprehensive accompanying program is planned around the ESC in the city of Basel.
This includes the Arena Plus, which will complement the main show with a huge public viewing on the day of the final. All information on the accompanying program can be found at www.eurovision-basel.ch.
To buy tickets for the ESC 2025 in Basel's St. Jakobshalle, you had to pre-register at Ticketcorner by 10.01.2025. Only those who pre-registered were given the opportunity to buy a ticket for the ESC main show during two ticket sales waves. The events are sold out.
Last tickets for the Arena plus - the largest public viewing show in Basel's St. Jakobs-Park stadium - are still available and can be purchased without pre-registration on Ticketcorner.

We advise against traveling by car, as parking spaces are very limited in Basel and the region.
For those arriving by car, paid Park & Ride (P+R) parking spaces are available around the city of Basel. Paid parking spaces are also available in the parking garages in the city of Basel. The parking guidance system and signs on the access roads guide visitors to the available parking spaces. From there, visitors can continue their journey into the city center by streetcar and bus. There will be no parking spaces available at St. Jakobshalle and St. Jakob-Park.
As an overnight guest from outside the canton, you will receive the Guest Pass+ in advance or on arrival at your accommodation (guest tax per person/night CHF 3.50). Thanks to the Guest Pass+, you can use public transport in the Basel region free of charge and without restriction for the duration of your stay. The Guest Pass+ also gives you discounted use of more than 20 leisure activities in the region.
Within the Tarifverbund Nordwestschweiz (TNW), the Regio Verkehrsverbund Lörrach (RVL) and in the Distribus area, travel to and from the official ESC events (St. Jakobshalle, Arena plus, EuroClub) by public transport is included in the ticket price. The ticket entitles the holder to travel to and from the venue on the day of the event (and until 05:00 on the following day) in 2nd class on the Tarifverbund Nordwestschweiz (TNW), the Regio Verkehrsverbund Lörrach (RVL) and on the Distribus lines.
Yes, SBB will coordinate special trips from all over Switzerland to Basel. A dense service will ensure that visitors arrive at the venue on time. After the end of the events, even late at night, shuttle trains and S-Bahn trains will run to Basel SBB station with connections to trains to Olten, Zurich, Bern and Lucerne. Public transport connections will also be offered for the journey home to destinations near the border.
