IG Baselland Culinary Week
The ‘Interessengemeinschaft (IG) Baselbieter Genusswoche‘ is responsible for the organisation and implementation of the Baselland Culinary Week. The IG is an association in accordance with the provisions of Art. 60ff of the Swiss Civil Code.
The IG is the sponsor of the Baselland Culinary Week. It promotes events that value the pleasure of eating and socialising at the table with high-quality products. Its aims are to highlight the diversity of food and dietary cultures, to increase consumer awareness of the regionality, quality, and seasonality of products, to sensitize the younger generation to the pleasures of gastronomy, to demonstrate the importance of a diverse and balanced diet for health, and to preserve culinary traditions while also fostering culinary innovations. The IG supports the partners of the Baselland Culinary Week (restaurateurs, farmers, winemakers, bakers, butchers, and all those involved in the production and processing of local foods) with versatile and powerful communication tools.

The office is managed by Baselland Tourism. Ramona Walter is the responsible project manager.
