For the extensive hike, you should allow enough time, as you will pass by various ruins and the Aesch gorge along the way.
The circular hike starts at Aesch station. The route leads over the ridge path at Muggeberg. Please keep an eye on the children here - there are steep slopes. Soon you will reach the Pfeffingen ruin, where exciting audio stories, great views, and many fire pits await you. Past further ruins, the hike leads to the idyllic gorge, the largest wine-growing area in Baselbiet. Along the Chlusbach, it goes back to Aesch.
